Maurice K. Eaves

Mrs. Maurice Kelley Eaves, 87, died Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 12th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Tommy Cherry officiating. Interment will be in Ellison Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Eaves was born May 4, 1923, in Winston County, MS. She was a homemaker and a member of Ellison Ridge Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tarvon R. Eaves, her parents, Mattie Eddie Sullivan and Jefferson D. Kelley; two sisters, Christine Parker and Eva Pearl Sansone; two brothers, Jefferson “Junior” Kelley and Dewitt Kelley; and a grandson, Michael Eaves. She is survived by a daughter, Sarah (Joe) Richardson of Dublin, GA; a son, Kenneth Eaves of Louisville; a sister, Modine Nance of Louisville; and three grandchildren, Maggie Richardson, Brandy Stone, and Clark Ray.
