Donald E. Cravens

Mr. Donald E. Cravens, 77, died Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Regency Hospital in Meridian, MS. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 13th, at 2:00 P.M. at Evergreen Baptist Church, with Rev. Charles Davis, Rev. Grady Crowell, and Rev. Steve Moore officiating. Interment will be in Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Mr. Cravens was born December 2, 1933, in Weakley County, Tennessee. He was a retired welder with Taylor Machine Works. He was an Army veteran, and a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Louise Crowell Cravens of Louisville; a daughter, Carol (Craig) Swain of Noxapater; four sons, Keith Cravens, Mark (Reva) Cravens, Michael Cravens, and Paul Cravens, all of Louisville, MS; a sister, Pattie (Bob) Hager of Novi, MI; a brother, Marvin B. (Kathleen) Cravens of Coweta, OK; and 8 grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Evergreen Baptist Church, 230 Evergreen Road, Louisville, MS 39339.
