Mr. James Todd Peterson, 52, died Thursday, September 8, 2011, in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, Sept.11th, at Porter Funeral Home, Rev. Scott Phillips and Rev. Jimmy Guy officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Mr. Peterson was born February 20, 1959, in Arkansas. He was self-employed in the forestry industry. He was preceded in death by his mother, June I. Peterson. He is survived by his wife, Vicki McGraw Peterson of Louisville; his father, James E. Peterson of Louisville; a daughter, Paige Peterson of Louisville; a son, Dillon Peterson of Louisville; and three sisters, Susan Rae Peterson of Roxboro, NC, Lynn Chamblee of Starkville, MS, and Denise Byrd of Louisville, MS.
