Edna Ruth Garrard

Mrs. Edna Ruth Garrard, 79, died Thursday, November 24, 2011, in Alvin, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 28th, at Porter Funeral Home, with interment in Sunrise Cemetery in Noxapater. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Garrard was born October 30, 1932 in Winston County, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Garrard. She is survived by two daughters, Diane Beasley of Alvin, TX, and Joanne Permenter of Preston, MS; three sons, Willard Coy Garrard, Jr. of Sante Fe, NM, James Lamar Garrard of Louisville, and George Eugene Garrard of Louisville; 11 grandchildren, and a number of great grandchildren.
