Mazie Taylor Quinn

Mrs. Mazie “Mame” Taylor Quinn, 98, died Thursday, February 2, 2012, at her home in Noxapater. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 4th, at Noxapater Methodist Church, with Rev. Chance May and Rev. Trent Bilbo officiating. Interment will be in Noxapater Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the church. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Quinn was born August 3, 1913, in Winston County. She was a homemaker, and a member of Noxapater Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Quinn; and her parents, Amos Lee Taylor and Minnie Pearl Price. She is survived by two sons, Doug (Tenie) Quinn of Noxapater, and Larry (Beverly) Quinn of Louisville; one daughter, Glenda Ree (Billy) Barnes of Noxapater; one sister, Mozelle Maxey of Noxapater; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 10 great great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Noxapater Methodist Church Building Fund, PO Box 282, Noxapater, MS 39346. Pallbearers will be Tony Jordan, Keith Quinn, Bruce Kirk, Ben Kirk, Bobby Gibbs, Brad Hodge, Bradley Burns, and Patrick Roby.
