Doris Boswell Crenshaw

Mrs. Doris Boswell Crenshaw, 73, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 23rd, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Trent Jaudon officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Crenshaw was born August 27, 1939, in Louisville. She was a graduate of East Central Community College, and was a retired owner of Louisville Florist and Ackerman Florist. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Darvin Young and Bill Crenshaw; a son, Dennis Young; a sister, Deedye Mitchell; and her parents, Nona and Wilkes Boswell. She is survived by her brother, Jimmy (Betty Mann) Boswell of Louisville; her brother-in-law, Guy (Dot) Young of Louisville; nephews, Judd Boswell and Zach Boswell; nieces, Barbara (Rick) Walker, Debbie (Doug) Miles, and Lisa (James) Bratton; and several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
