Mrs. Lucille D. Tullos, 72, died Saturday, September 14, 2013, at her home in Choctaw County. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Monday, Sept. 16th, at Porter Funeral Home, with interment in Owens Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Dempsey was born May 18, 1941, in Hickory, MS. She was a retired employee of TRW Co. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sara Vowell and Oscar Dempsey; two sisters, Mary Miller and Adafaye Creech; and two brothers, Lowrey Romedy and John Berry Romedy. She is survived by her husband, William Tullos of McCool, MS; a son, Jimmy Roland of McCool; three daughters, Brenda Bowman of Oxford, MS, Tondra Williams of Concord, NC, and Candy Tullos of Gulf Shores, AL; two sisters, Benita Furr of McCool, and Clytee Romedy of Paducah, KY; two brothers, Quavis Romedy of Columbus, MS, and Forrest Romedy of Nashville, TN; 9 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
