Tom Robert Boone

Mr. Tom Robert Boone, Jr., 78, died on Sunday, February 23, 2014, at his home in Noxapater. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Greg Thomas and Rev. James Dearing officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. Mr. Boone was born November 22, 1925, in Houston, TX. He was a retired sign painter, and was an Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife, Sudie Tucker Boone of Noxapater; two sons, David Robert Boone of El Paso, TX, and Tommy Boone of Soldotna, AK; a step-daughter, Susan Boone of Houston, TX; 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Charles Thomas, Johnny Young, Chris Young, Lamar Clark, Barnard Winstead, and Frank Ainsworth.
