Cynthia Stokes Miller

Mrs. Cynthia Yvonne Stokes Miller, 61, died Monday, May 26, 2014, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 29th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Dewayne Kelsey officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Miller was born June 5, 1952, in Louisville, MS. She was a retired secretary. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Virginia and James Elbert Stokes; and a grandson, Colby Miller. She is survived by two daughters, Clarissa (Keith) Flake and Megan Miller (Mantrell Ashford), both of Louisville; a son, Andrew Miller of Calhoun, GA; two sisters, Anita Darlene Coker of Texas, and Sharon Stokes of Louisville; a brother, James “Stokie” Stokes of Louisville; and six grandchildren, Tyler Flake, Taylor Flake, Will Miller, Jake Miller, Charleigh Ashford, and Kingsley Ashford. Pallbearers are J. T. Hillhouse, David Coker, Peyton Jones, Brady Jones, Tyler Flake, and Taylor Flake.
