Dixie Chandler Reese

Mrs. Dixie Fay Chandler Reese, 68, died Monday, December 1, 2014, at Central Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 4th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. James Mills officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Reese was born July 8, 1946, in Winston County, MS. She was a retired retail clerk, and a member of Gum Branch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Reese; and her parents, Burneice White and Orland E. Chandler. She is survived by her son, James Reese, Jr.; her brother Donnie (Mei-Qiang) Chandler of Clinton, MS; and two grandchildren, James Franklin Reese and Sherlee Chandler.
