Inez Moody Boyles

Mrs. Inez Moody Boyles, 92, died on Thursday, December 25, 2014, at Oktibbeha County Hospital in Starkville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 28th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Jason Gross officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home. Interment will be in Good Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Boyles was born October 20, 1922, in Winston County, MS. She was a retired state employee and worked with the Tax Assessor Office and the Welfare Department in Indianola, MS for many years. She also worked with the Winston County Library. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Boyles; her parents, Ab and Mattie Moody; two sisters, Lora Ann Goodin and Myrrha Jarvis; and four brothers, Cloyse Moody, Forest Moody, Bobbie Moody, and Edmond Moody. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Boyles of Louisville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ellis Houston, Haley Moody, Wayne Moody, Chris Moody, Robert Goodin, Bobby Moody, and Roland Moody. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Golden Circle Sunday School Class. Memorials may be made to Good Hope Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, or the charity of your choice.
