Mrs. Rosemary Ellis Woodward, 83, died Saturday, October 31, 2015, at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 3rd, at Whitehall United Methodist Church, with Rev. Jonathan Stokes, Rev. Stacey Parvin, and Rev. David Greer officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Woodward was born February 26, 1932, in Winston County, MS. Rosemary and her husband owned and operated the Country Barn Store and the Catfish Barn Restaurant for many years in Louisville. She was a member of Whitehall United Methodist Church. Rosemary loved her family greatly, and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Billy Woodward, Sr.; and her parents, Rosalee Metts Ellis and John Henry Ellis. She is survived by two daughters, Pam (Jeff) Reed of Louisville, MS and Lynn (Tony) Proctor of Columbus, MS; two sons, John Billy (Theresa) Woodward, Jr. and Jeffrey (Malynda) Woodward, both of Louisville, MS; one brother, Mike Ellis of Louisville, MS; 10 grandchildren, Justin (Nikki) Reed, Amy (Jordan) Clark, Katie Proctor, John Stylon Proctor, Kristie (Drew) Massey, Kimberly (A.J.) Parrish, John Ross (Brittany) House, Davide House, Brian Woodward, and Owen Woodward; and 11 great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Justin Reed, John Stylon Proctor, Brian Woodward, Jordan Clark, Drew Massey, A.J. Parrish, Daniel Dunlap, Owen Woodward, Lake Reed, Kade Massey, Mason Massey, Holden Parrish, Davide House, John Ross House, Tristan House, and Taylor House.
