Patricia Ann Bane Dempsey

Mrs. Patricia Ann Bane Dempsey, 77, of Louisville, MS passed away at her home surrounded by family and friends on Monday, December 7, 2015. She was born March 14, 1938 in Louisville, MS to the late Henry Clay Bane and Della Mae Hill Bane. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Silas Lamar Dempsey; and her sister, Dan Ella Templeton. She is survived by three daughters, Beverly Britt, Kay Kirkpatrick, Susan Darby (John); one son, Michael Dempsey (Stacey); one sister, Sarah McAdory (Johnnie); one brother, Henry Clay Bane, Jr. (Margie); seven grandchildren, Steven Ingram, Chris Clark, Matthew Clark, Nikki Hunt Spence, Samantha Perkins, Alicia Dempsey, and Austin Dempsey; six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Jeff Walton officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until the service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Welcome Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Johnnie McAdory, Connie Dempsey, Billy Don Baker, Brock Baker, Matthew Clark, and Will Bane. Honorary pallbearers are Gayle Ross Templeton and Allen Ray Hall. The family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or Baptist Hospital of Jackson, MS.
