Mrs. Lisa Gay Holloway, 54, died Friday, November 18, 2016 at the UAB Medical Center in Birmingham. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, November 21st, at Porter Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Duran officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Middleton Methodist Cemetery. Lisa was born January 14, 1962 in Louisville, MS, to Leslie and Margie Hutton Miles. She was a graduate of Nanih Waiya High School and married Barry Holloway in 1985. Later, she graduated with a degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University where she served as assistant registrar. She loved her MSU family, especially her co-workers and her Bulldogs. Some of Lisa’s greatest joys were spending time in her yard, growing beautiful flowers and taking trips to the Great Smoky Mountains with her husband. Lisa was a member of Vernon Assembly of God Church where she played the organ. She will always be remembered for her kind heart and generous personality and will be greatly missed by her family, friends and devoted co-workers. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Kyle Holloway, and a sister, Rosemary Miles. Survivors include her husband, Barry, her sisters, Judy Miles Taylor of Hattiesburg, Marsha Myers (Sam) of Vancleave, brothers, Leslie Ray Miles (Sharron) of Starkville, Denny Miles (Jennifer) of Nanih Waiya, and numerous nieces and nephews, who treasured her love.
