Ava Doris McDonald Weil

Mrs. Ava Doris McDonald Weil, 84, passed away on Sunday, august 26, 2018, at Louisville Healthcare in Louisville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 30th,at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mike McDonald officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 9:00 A.M. until service time at Porter Funeral Home. Mrs. Weil was born November 21, 1933, in Neshoba County, MS. She was a retired employee of the Spartus Corp and was a member of First Baptist Church of Louisville. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Bryan; a son, Gary Weil; two sisters, Florine Jenkins and Joyce Majure; two brothers, Hubert “Mack” McDonald and Danny O. McDonald; and her parents, Pearlie Mae and Danny McDonald. She is survived by two daughters, Diane Rogers of Louisville, and Sherry Callahan of McCool, MS; two sons, Terry Weil of Mt. Morris, IL, and David Weil of Parrott, GA; a sister-in-law, Willie Dean McDonald; 12 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
