Cathy Reason Allen

Mrs. Cathy Reason Allen, 73, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2025, at her home in Louisville. 

 Cathy was born March 9, 1951, in Plymouth, NC. She attended Chowan College in Murphreesboro, NC, and was a homemaker. Cathy loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, and spoiling her cats. 

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Carrie Reason; her sisters, Phyllis Copeland and Georgia Vancellette; and a brother, Coy “Gump” Haislip.

 She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Mike Allen of Louisville, MS; two sons, Mike Allen, Jr, and Jeff Allen; a brother, Jimmie Reason; a sister Linda Waters; and two grandchildren, Kaleigh Allen and Cayson Allen. 

 Memorials in Cathy’s memory may be made to the Louisville Animal Shelter.
