Charles G. "Chuck" Clark, Jr.

Mr. Charles Garrigues "Chuck" Clark, Jr, 58, passed away at the Memory Care Facility of the Winston County Nursing Home on Friday, May 31, 2024. 

Chuck was born July 3, 1965, in Houston, Texas.  He attended and graduated Louisville High School in 1983 and Mississippi State University receiving a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering in 1987. Chuck was a gifted technician, he could disassemble, repair and rebuild absolutely anything with a motor or computer, including vintage muscle cars, particularly Pontiac Firebirds and Ford Mustangs. He continued to purse his passion for all things electrical and mechanical by obtaining both his private and commercial pilot’s licenses. He was employed as a corporate pilot for both Garan, Inc. and Yates Construction Company.   

Chuck was a valued member of First Methodist Church often volunteering to operate their sound and lighting systems for Church productions.     

Chuck was recently preceded in death by his father, Charles G. Clark, Sr. and survived by his loving mother, Gerry B. Clark of Louisville; two sisters, Samantha (Britt) Bookout of Louisville, and Courtney (Evan) Buxner of St. Louis, MO; his niece and nephews, Dade Bookout, Hodgson Bookout, Harper Buxner, Bodie Buxner, and Cooper Buxner; and host of cousins and friends. 

Please join Chuck’s family for a visitation and celebration of life, Tuesday, June 4th, from 5:00 to 6:30 P.M. at the Louisville Winston County Airport, followed by a graveside service and interment at Memorial Park Cemetery. The service will be officiated by Rev. Mike Childs with Porter Funeral Home directing all arrangements.
