Doris White Luke

Doris Irene Luke (White), 97, of Louisville, MS, passed away on April 26, 2024. She was born on August 5, 1926, in Noxubee County, MS. Doris was a homemaker, worked at Spartus Corp., and was a long-time employee at the local Walmart.

She was a charter member of Ackerman Church of God and worshipped her Lord and Savior there faithfully for over half a century.

Doris is survived by her children and spouses: Ronnie C. Luke (Beverly), Ricky G. Luke (Dianne), Lisa Luke Mace (Mark), and Kerry Phillip Luke (Mary-Lynn); 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garner V Luke, her father James R. "Bob"  White,  her mother Mary M. "Maggie" White and her 9 siblings.

Funeral services will be held at Porter Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at 11:00 A.M.     Rev. Ronnie Luke and Rev. Mike Childs will preside over the service. Interment will immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 30^th, at Porter Funeral Home.
