Glynda Ming Triplett

Mrs. Glynda Victoria Triplett, 80, passed away on Saturday, October 23, 2022, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, October 31st, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Mayo and Mr. Giles Ward officiating. Glynda was born February 4, 1941, in Louisville, MS. She was a graduate of Louisville High School, and attended East Central Community College, Mississippi College, and Mississippi State University. She was a secretary for the Winston County Forestry Service for many years, and was a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Warrene Stokes Ming. She is survived by her husband, Robert J. “Bobby” Triplett; her son, Jayson Ming Triplett of Jackson, MS; a sister, Janis Ming (Dr. Jerry) Clanton of Louisville, KY; and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
