Hazel Parker Reed

Mrs. Hazel Parker Reed, 93, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2019, in Palm Coast, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 4th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Matt Moehring and Mr. Greg DePriest officiating. Visitation will be Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the funeral home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.   Mrs. Reed was born January 5, 1926, in Noxapater, MS.   She was a retired seamstress. Formerly of Louisville, Hazel and her late husband, Rev. Travis Reed, served Lighthouse Church for many years. She had most recently lived in Florida with her daughter. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Travis Reed; a son, Adron Reed; and her parents, Lennie and Irvin Parker. She is survived by a daughter, Doris (Ed) Christopher of Palm Coast, FL; a son, Tim (Tracy) Reed of Birch Tree, MO; three grandchildren, Bryan Christopher, Eric Christopher, and Adri Himes; and 9 great grandchildren.
