Jeffrey Scott Allen

Jeffrey "Jeff" Scott Allen, age 48, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at his home in Flowood, Mississippi. Jeff was born in Ahoskie, North Carolina on November 7, 1977. In 1983 he moved with his family to Reynoldsburg, Ohio, and then on to Louisville, MS in 1989. Jeff graduated from Louisville High School. and then from Mississippi StateUniversity with a degree in accounting in 2000. He then worked for Cingular Wireless for about ten years before going into the construction business. He eventually formed his own company doing custom tile work.

Jeff was a big supporter of the Louisville Wildcats and the Mississippi State Bulldogs in all sports. He said many times "it is hard to be a Bulldog fan", but his patience was rewarded in 2021 when the Dogs finally won a national championship in baseball. Jeff loved baseball at all levels of the sport. He also loved to squirrel hunt, and enjoyed nothing better than sitting under a hickory tree with his .22 rifle on a crisp fall morning. He was a mild mannered man, that was always willing to help with whatever needed to be done.

Jeff was preceded in death by his mother Cathy Reason Allen. He is survived by his dad Mike Allen Sr, his brother Mike Allen Jr, his niece Kaleigh Allen, and his nephew Cayson Allen.
