Mrs. Ludie Warren Trosper, 92, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Dogwood Cottage at Winston Medical Center in Louisville, MS. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 29th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Charles Rook and Rev. David Keen officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 7:00P.M. and on Tuesday for one hour before the service. Interment will be in Perkinsville Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Ludie was born November 29, 1931, in Dekalb, MS, to Marvin and Ludie Vaughn Warren. She was a homemaker, and a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Trosper; her parents; her brothers, V. Warren, J. R. Warren, Virgil Warren, Jessie Warren, and Frank Warren; her sisters, Thelma Boone, Edna Boone, and Ardel Thomas; and several brothers and sisters-in-law; and three sons-in-law.
She is survived by two sons, Danny (Karen) Trosper and Tommy (Desha) Trosper, both of Louisville; four daughters, Nancy Ford of Hillsboro, OR, Kay Mize of Louisville, Donna Carson of Meridian, MS, Brenda (Tim) Parker of Mendenhall, MS; a brother, Key (Linda) Warren and a sister, Maudine Trosper; grandchildren, Ericka Mann, Paul (Katrina) Trosper, Rachel (Heath) Robertson, Nathan (Mitzi) Trosper, Eric (Nicky) Trosper, Heather (Patrick) Charlton, Ashley Richardson, Steven (Lauren) Carson, Adam Carson, Haleigh (Nicholas) Kirkland, and Dr. Joshua (Jessica) Parker; and 18 great grandchildren, and another one on the way.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mitch Sanders, Virgil Rogers, Mark Dempsey, Jacob Johnson, Derek Eaves, and Dwayne Ming.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
