Ronald Ezell Carter

Mr. Ronald Ezell Carter, 83, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at Baptist-Golden Triangle Hospital in Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 13th, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Dr. Johnny Collins and Dr. Billy Smith officiating. Visitation will be Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church from 2:30 P.M. until service time. Interment will be in Campground Cemetery.   Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.   Mr. Carter was born November 8, 1935, in Winston County, MS. He was a retired self-employed roofing contractor, and a Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fronie and Jessie Carter.     He is survived by a daughter, Judy Bellflower of Iuka, MS; a brother, Raymond Carter of Biloxi, MS; four grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.   Pallbearers will be Michael Carter, James Lee, Wayne Perkins, Mike Mitchell, Bobby Joe Edwards, and Jordan Mitchell.
