Mrs. Susan Renee Sullivan, 57, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Central Merritt Health Center in Jackson, MS. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 20th, at Porter Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Mayo officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Murphy Creek Cemetery. Porter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Due to the Covid pandemic, the family asks that everyone wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines. Susan was born December 13, 1963, in Louisville. She was a graduate of Louisville High School, East Central Community College, and Mississippi State University, where she received her Master’s degree in Elementary education. She was a teacher at Kosciusko Junior High School for over 26 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Louisville. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Stewart. She is survived by her husband, Jakie Sullivan of Louisville; her daughters, Kristian (Matthew) Williamson of Columbus, MS, Lexi Sullivan of Louisville, and Caylee (Matt) Easterling of Madison; her mother, Benita Stokes Stewart of Louisville; two sisters, Sonya (Keith) Goodin of Madison, and Misty Jones of Louisville; a brother, Paul Norman Stewart of Petal, MS; four grandchildren, Madyson Chamblee, Embry Grace Williamson, Peyton Williamson, and Parks Easterling; and her lifelong friend, Tammy Ray. Pallbearers will be Matt Easterling, Matthew Williamson, Jon Kerry King, Jarrett King, Joshua Jones, and Matthew Chamblee.
