Vernon Nelson Ray

Mr. Vernon Nelson Ray, 92, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2022, at his home in Weir, MS. A graveside service and interment will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, November 11th, at Parkway Cemetery in Kosciusko, MS. Mr. Ray was born October 25, 1930, in Minter City, MS. He was an Army veteran and a retired house painter. He is preceded in death by his wife, Diana Ray; his parents, Willie Virginia and Arthur Allen Ray, Sr.; and three brothers, Arthur Allen Ray, Jr., William Aaron Ray, and Charles Mack Ray. He is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
